New Winter Term Architecture Undergraduate Students

We are excited that you will be joining our duck design community! Please see below for important information that will support you as you embark on this rewarding educational path.

Information for New Winter Admits Only:

If you have been offered admission for the winter term, your next steps are:

  1. Submit the online Architecture Undergraduate Admission Decision Form
  2. Schedule an appointment for undergraduate academic advising with the College of Design Student Services. Log in using your Duck ID at https://uo.campus.eab.com/

The department is unable to accommodate every admitted winter term applicant into the winter term first-year design studio sequence. Depending on capacity, some accepted winter term applicants may be slated to begin their design studio sequence the following academic year. Questions about your studio term can be directed to archadvisor@uoregon.edu.

Hardware and Software Requirements:

The department requires all students to have unlimited access to their own personal computers. Because of the professional application of complex graphic programs and large data files for most coursework, the department’s computer requirements exceed the average user’s computing needs. See the Student Computer Purchasing Guide on the College of Design Technology Services blog for recommended specifications and departmental requirements.

Studio Supply List:

In addition to hardware and software, studios require hand media drafting, drawing, and model-making tools. The department has put together a list of recommended supplies as you prepare for your upcoming studios.
