This week the focus was on working out a variety of schemes on the Macro (aka site and neighborhood) scale. If I haven’t already mentioned I used this site during a two week project for summer studio. I really tried to move away from the scheme I did this summer if only for the sake of trying something different and by the end of the week I realized that I like the scheme I came up with this summer better than the alternatives I came up with. This sketch is really where the scheme originated and this week is about looking at a part of our scheme on a Micro (detail, specific material etc) scale. 
This sketch originated from a notion about creating a band along and underneath the interstate that creates an acoustical buffer and preserves the view to the river. Anyways – short post this week but that’s where i’m at right now!

We would leave it there and once consumers get to see it they actually have an idea of what it will look like with their furnishings in it and then you can show them that you were thinking of offering with home furniture and if they don’t like the idea tell them there will be no worries to taking it with you but if it will help sell the house.
