Space frames.

The review went quite well. The reviewers where very helpful in the fact that they were able to direct me towards space frame construction but also telling me to try to use it in a non conventional way, to be creative with it. Combining the rooftop with a park /mechanical equipment zone was also an idea that would permit me to camouflage ( hopefully by celebrating it somehow ) the equipment and allow people to have a very nice view of Mt. hood over the city of Portland. I tried to keep a certain redundancy in my structure by using a loofah inspired shape but I used it as inside structure and facade structure which ended in looking slightly goofy and unnecessary. Giving the facade a more regular rhythm, it’s own rhythm is very important. On the positive side the reviewers liked my loofah structural interpretation and that it spoke to the project.
