Precedents

I chose to look at four precedents. First is the book cradle to cradle which talks about our poor treatment of materials and manufacturing process. It was a pretty depressing read talking about how most of the materials surrounding us contain carcinogens and neurotoxins. However it does talk about some positives and potential solutions, the book itself is made from a 100% recyclable polymer. The second precedent I looked at was a tree life cycle. I think I would like to make another diagram of this but with more depth. I also looked at a company nature works which does provide an alternative to our materials practice making 100% compostable plastic made from plant fibers. Finally I looked at a couple of silo rehabilitation projects as I am thinking of doing an industrial reuse project.Precedents(compressed)
