Days for Girls

Today was for the girls.

In 100+ nations around the world, girls will miss 2 months of school due to

their inability to access feminine hygiene products. Days for Girls is an organization

that makes kits to help those girls and women get back in the classroom and the workplace.

Today, APO teamed up with Days for Girls in Springfield, OR to make hygiene kits.

Thank you Days for Girls for giving us the opportunity to help.

Check out their website to learn more about the cause.

Winter ’17 Big/Little Reveal!

The day we’ve been anticipating has finally come!

After a week full of excitement and daily surprises for the littles,

the long awaited reveal did not disappoint.

Pictured above is Michelle of the Alpha family with her new little, Sara!

Here we have big Jon, and little Cody.

And finally, a few members of the Omega family!

From left to right: big Clara, little Orianna, little Renée, and big Emily.

Our 9 big and little pairs for this term are excited to get out and make valuable memories together in leadership, friendship, and service.

Pledge Potluck

Leadership, Friendship, Service… and Food!

Last Saturday we had a great night at the pledge potluck playing board games, enjoying snacks,

and just hanging out with our new brothers. Many laughs and good times were shared!

(See 5 out of our 9 winter pledges pictured above!)

We’re loving getting to know our new brothers. Check out our

instagram (@apouo) and Facebook page to meet them too!

MLK Jr. Day Ivy Pull

“We’ve learned to fly the air like birds, we’ve learned to swim the seas like fish, and yet we haven’t learned to walk the earth as brothers and sisters.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Today we enjoyed a beautiful morning working to help pull ivy, one of the top

invasive species of the Pacific Northwest. We are learning to not only walk

the earth as brothers, but also leave it better than it was before!
