Below are just a few of the many ADPI ethnic student organizations.

You don’t have to be a student or identity as part of that community to get involved! General meeting times and locations vary term by term, contact each organization for most up-to-date information!

Asian Pacific American Student Union (APASU)

Representing Asian and Pacific Islander students on the University of Oregon campus to fight for social and political equality within the UO system.

Hui ‘O Hawaii Club

The Hui O Hawaii Club is a student organization catered to students interested, from, or associated with the beautiful state and would like to learn more about their culture.

International Student Association (ISA)

International Student Association (ISA) is an International Student Group at University of Oregon. We represent approximately 1600 international students from over 90 different countries. A President and a Vice President, four student officers, around 25 interns, and hundreds of many wonderful, hardworking volunteers run ISA. Our goal is to assist international students with the transition to U.S. culture and society. To accomplish the goal, we host numerous events on campus for both international and domestic students to have a better understanding of diverse culture.

Japanese Student Organization (JSO)

The Japanese Student Organization (JSO) was established by University of Oregon students to support Japanese students in their endeavors in the United States, as well as to introduce Japanese language and culture to non-Japanese students and community members interested in world cultures.

Kultura Pilipinas (KP)

Kultura Pilipinas (KP) is the University of Oregon’s official Filipino student organization. Some of our main events include: Fiesta for Change, NWFASA Conference, and Pilipino Culture Night. KP welcomes anyone, regardless of ethnicity, who wishes to interact with the Filipino community and learn about its culture and heritage.

Pacific Islander Club (PIC)

Iorana! Gude! Talofa! Malo e lelei! Aloha! Bula vinaka! Hafa adai! Kaselehlie! Humalia! Pacific Islander Club is a student organization open to all Pacific Islanders as well as those who are just curious or would like to learn more about a culture within the Pacific Islands. We are a group of students who come together to learn more about our culture(s) through story telling, cultural dances, cultural crafts, and so much more.

Queer, Trans, and Intersex Students of Color (QTISOC)

QTISOC creates a community for Queer, Trans & Intersex students of color. It is a place for students who stand on the intersections.

Students of the Indian Subcontinent (SIS)

The Students of the Indian Subcontinent is a student group at the University of Oregon. The goal of the group is to: promote the many cultures of the Indian subcontinent, and to create a network of people who are, in any way, interested in the subcontinent.

Vietnamese Student Association (VSA)

The UO Vietnamese Student Association is a student organization that aims to promote Vietnamese and Vietnamese-American culture and awareness throughout campus and the Eugene community. Through working with other cultural groups on campus, we hope to contribute to the diverse UO community and promote it as one that is multifaceted, as well as rich with differences and similarities.
