Even though the history of past Thanksgiving and current day Thanksgiving is important, it is time to connect this to the overall idea. What is anthropology teaching us about the relationship between American Culture and Power of gender? Firstly, it is very important to understand what is American culture is and how this directly effects being a woman or a man on Thanksgiving. Furthermore, I will answer this specific question with some of the participant observations as well as the conversational interviews with certain members of my family.
