Here is an example of a multiphase (fluidized solid and gas) flow simulation that I work on. This shows a pyroclastic density current flowing down a slope of 20 degrees.
Pyroclastic density currents entrain gas as they flow which increases mobility. The color bar on the right indicates the density of particles in the flow in a log scale.
