Makena Pratt, a 20-year-old student at University of Oregon, starts every morning off with 30 minutes of yoga and meditation outside in her backyard to clear her mind and relax her body.
Pratt presses her palms together in the center of her chest in Prayer Mudra. She uses this pose to center and balance her body and energy.
Pratt presses her hands firmly on her yoga mat and places her knees securely on her elbows, in a yoga pose known as the Crane.
After Pratt completes her yoga and meditation, she rolls her green yoga mat up and starts her day feeling at peace.
Pratt uses her upper body and core strength to hold herself upside down in a yoga position known as a head stand.
