Award: MARIE AND SKIP SQUIRES SCHOLARSHIP

History of the Scholarship:

Marie Squires was a retired teacher and graduated from the UO in 1953 with a BS in Art Education. She gave an annual gift to support scholarships for students in the College of Education. Upon her death she established an endowed scholarship to fund students at the College of Education

The award recipients will be selected on the basis of the following criteria: 

• Open to any student in the college of education with preference given to students focused on human services.

• Recipients must be in good academic standing and show promise in their chosen field.
