About Your Scholarship

Award: THE PUMFREY FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

History of the Scholarship:

Established by the estate of Thomas, Gladyce, and Virginia Pumfrey, this scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students who show a commitment to community service. The recipients shall be eligible to receive subsequent awards for up to four successive academic years (five years total) provided they continue to demonstrate academic excellence and commitment to community service.

The award recipients will be selected on the basis of the following criteria: 

• Students must be an undergraduate enrolled in the College of Education, full time

• Demonstrate academic excellence

• Demonstrate a commitment to community service

There are no living donors to thank for this scholarship.
