Scholarship: CESAR CHAVEZ RESEARCH AWARD

History of the Scholarship:

The César Chávez Research award was established to provide support for
Graduate research projects dedicated to contributing knowledge about and
enhancing the well-being of Latina/o families, communities, and/or individuals.
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial assistance to a graduate research
project; including tuition, fees, books, miscellaneous materials and supplies, travel, room and board.

The award recipients will be selected on the basis of the following criteria: 

• Student in good standing enrolled at the COE who is conducting or proposing a research project

• Priority given to research dedicated to contributing knowledge about and enhancing the well-being of Latina/o families, communities, and/or individuals.

• Demonstrated academic success
