About Your Scholarship
Award: JEAN TWOHIG SCHOLARSHIP
History of the Scholarship:
Jean Twohig established this scholarship fund in 1982 for students interested in a career in social services. The scholarship was first awarded through the School of Community Service and Public Affairs, no longer intact at the University of Oregon. It is now awarded through the College of Education area of Counseling Psychology and Human Services.
The award recipients will be selected on the basis of the following criteria:
• Recipients for this award must be graduate students in the Couples and Family Therapy or Counseling Psychology Program
• They must have good academic standing.
• They must demonstrate financial need.
• Recipients of this scholarship must show promise as a counselor or therapist
