Thanksgiving Morning: Ads (Family Friends)

Every year, after they are finished playing football at our church, family friends Jake and Heather come over with their two young kids to eat cinnamon rolls and socialize. But after we all sat to eat, I noticed almost everyone reading ads just like my Dad. I do not find this to be a negative or distracting act. We all still conversed and had a good time, but I find it interesting how normalized reading ads is on Thanksgiving Day.
