I had to look up the journalist Jack Shafer who wrote the article, after I finished reading it. He was born in 1960 and that makes me wonder when he read it, in college? I would love to know his a-ha moment that connected Avenatti’s tactics to Alinsky. Shafer article’s is perfect timing for our class and how Alinsky’s tactics are still being used. – Bronwyn
