Report 3:
Report 3 outlines research to support your final project. You should find scholarly (peer reviewed) articles and books through UO Library databases, library holdings, library image files, and other sources for information on your selected topic. Apply the searching methods outlined during our library training session. You will need to research both the scientific images/topics you have selected as your focus and the artist(s) exploring those scientific interests in some form. Include a list of references of your sources.
You must have at least 10 sources (3 pertaining to the artist/art medium/style; 3 pertaining to the science; 3 pertaining to the social problem; 1 your choice of additional source). You should have a mix of books from the library, peer-reviewed journal articles, and online respected news sources.
Bibliographic List & Annotation. All sources must be fully annotated. Write down/note/reference these sources and pertinent information about the artist, science involved, etc. There should be at minimum ten (10) sources with annotated bibliographies of each submitted (see http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/614/01/).
For our expectations, the annotated bibliography summary paragraphs should be a solid paragraph in length (maybe two depending on how you outline the information) for each source. A solid paragraph should be at least five to six sentences long. Make sure to write a couple sentences also about how it connects to your research and Creative Display specifically.
