…speaking of Digital Arts BFA material, check out some of our some Digital Arts MFA material; Ian Clark. An artist with the kind of range and diversity to his practice that fits just perfectly in our program. His film Pool Room was recently reviewed on Texas Movie Review, see the review here. From review by Brett Fletcher “Small town Texans will also enjoy the setting and costumes. Clothes look like they’re from Wal-Mart and Good-Will. Floors are rusty; weeds are overgrown. Trash blows down oil stained roads, with birds resting on power lines against a copper sky. The sense of immersion is enhanced by the camera’s view straying around to view random images. Director Ian Clarke does a very fine job at choosing exactly which random picture will add ambiance to a scene; whether it’s a Styrofoam cup floating in green water or a holey leaf blowing in the wind.”
We respect, admire and graciously welcome Ian to our Digital Arts MFA program….and look forward to working with him.
