Oregon in China: UO Digital Arts faculty have been honored by an invitation to participate in a joint exhibition with artists from the Shandong University of Art and Design in Jinan, China in September 2006. The UO artists, Ying Tan, Craig Hickman, Colin Ives, Kartz Ucci, Chris Coleman and Michael Salter, will present works in photography, experimental video, animation, interactivity, graphic installation and physical computing. Five of the UO artists will travel to China to install the exhibition and present workshops in digital arts to SDADA students.
