*Final Review: Tuesday, December 2, 2014, 2pm start time. Rooms LA 278 and LA 279.

Consider the final review as serious occasions, but also as enjoyable opportunities to engage the rest of the department, showing what you have achieved in the past six months.

Please refer to the following minimum final requirements for both reviews.

SHORT verbal statement.  A few simple, declarative sentences, each of which states a central concept which drove your project.

Program, with area in square feet: Maker, Third Space, Gathering and Circulation (and or customized).

Site Strategy Diagrams (2-3)  Site plan or Neighborhood scales

3D building-on-site Overview, digital or physical (aerial view or small physical model)

3D Parti Diagrams, series (Volume, Major Spaces, Circulation, as necessary)

Plans and Sections, Scale: 1/8″ = 1′-0″.  Include columns in plans, beams/girders in sections.  At least one longitudinal and one lateral section, but consider including more if they explain critical spatial relationships within your scheme.  Think carefully about which sections to draw.

Exterior Perspective (1) at eye level and Interior Perspectives (1)

Elevation, Scale 1/4″ = 1′-0″ or Exterior Perspective along 12th, Line drawing with light shadows

*Sectional Perspective, minimum 11 x 17 (*optional but replaces a Section AND Exterior Perspective)
