WINDOWS

–  Begin by bringing in your plan from Autocad or Rhino and extruding surfaces for walls.

–  Make a box to cut out the window opening. Position the box intersecting the wall surface)

– “Intersection”

– “Split”

– “Loft,” from curves produced from the intersection command at window jambs.  *It may also be useful to extract curves from object: Curves/Curves from Object/Duplicate Edge.

(follow the onscreen instructions on the top for each tool.  some tools allow you to do multiple selections such as ‘intersection’)
