Welcome to the collaborative project website for ARH 4-510, Contemporary Art in the 1960s and 1970s, taught by Prof. Kate Mondloch at the University of Oregon!

Our course investigated the major artistic developments in North America and Western Europe during the 1960s-1970s. It addressed the ambitions and contexts of pop art, minimalism, conceptual art, feminist art, performance art, video art, land art, and more. Each student has created a series of research projects focused on the work of a single artist which you can view by clicking on the images.
