1.1 Readings – ESysmans
- As designers how can we use site data from the human scale, such as environmental data, and combine that with the larger surrounding city or urban data, such as where people are and when in a city, in order to create a design that supports both the site and its surroundings?
- By changing the scale in which a site is viewed, it forces designers to change how they view the site and the data they should pay attention to.
- Combining and analyzing urban data at both small and large scales allow for conclusions to be made based off patterns that appear in the data.
