Divisions of Urban Space

We don’t yet have an exact topical problem, but I’m struck at this scale by how the urban space is shaped by major characteristics. In this case, the highway as a dividing line, the topography change in the northeast, and the marina in the southeast clearly define the city layout. The urban fabric of buildings is only present when these major elements are not.
