  1. I think all three of our reviewers commented that sidewalks are not exactly what walkability is about. That seems to fall more under accessibility. Given that, I think we could do a couple of maps looking at walking distance to a few different types of destinations, restaurants/bars, shopping (retail or grocery) and maybe services or events with 5 minute, 10 minute and 15 minute walking ranges. (Or one map with good color coding) Stephen also mentioned looking a things from an accessibility angle; haptic bumps, curbs, curb cuts.
  2. Research. Mary had some very good advice about how anything you say about a specific group of people needs to have specific cited research attached to the claim, otherwise it seems like you are making generalizations about a group of people. I know this, but I definitely need to do a better job showing that for the final.
  3. Stephen suggested that for our situated technology we could create a map of suggested placement of the devices. Matous said we should offset our roads to make the sidewalk/public space more clear.

Goal for final: A polished video that clearly states our hypothesis, research, data gathering, results and suggested policy changes. Clear, cited literature review and problem statement that define what makes public spaces vital, and what qualities are important to women who use public spaces.
