Takeaways from the Reading:

  1. The concept of the “superilles” is very ambitious, and it reflects the importance of social interaction and quality spaces that offers benefits to urban inhabitants
  2. Pedestrianized street components of the “superilles” are related to ideals shared by other countries such as the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, all which propose reducing vehicle transportation, and “mixing travel nodes”
  3. Methods of research were complex, ranging through different indicators all through digital visualization, to measure social interaction. Sensory engagement and GIS systems were also methods that sounded interesting because they were indirect.
