4.0 Final Presentation List
This is the same as the mid-term but I would focus on the three latest items. Please plan to present no longer than 5 minutes. Reviews will be scheduled for roughly +/- 25 minutes next Wednesday.
Hi. Slideshow or Poster please try to include the following minimal material:
Project description (2 paragraphs)
Infographics on the problem. Related climactic and or Social data.
Diagrams of: Big Idea; Sub ideas (social + environment); qualities; indicators (you can start custom icons for each indicator)
Neighborhood Map 8 x 8 blocks (main streets, parks, Diagonal, with labels (location plan)
Data maps of each (ELK / GIS vis tool of 4 data types, minimum)
….this can be included in the Aerial Perspective and only show selective data.
3 theoretical citations (of any reading from class/blog article) photo collage silhouette
2 shared streets precedents (1 max in Europe)
…some mention on posters
Aerial Perspective: try to include most of the Superilla (all is not necessary); combine 2-4 data viz; overhead enough to understand street / plaza plan; consider overall line drawing but rendering the DESIGN area.
Eye-level Perspective: this is all about human experience. It should be moody. Atmosphere and phenonema: get the weather right and tune in the people to your activities/programming and project problem. LOTS OF PHOTOSHOP. Twilight may be best for most of your. Dont stand in the middle of the street. lol
Unit Axon: the scale could include the entire street width (right-of-way) or zoom way into a single design unit. This should probably be a line drawing (Rhino and illustrator)
**should a graphic layer of DATA would be great in all of these to explain what you learned that inform the DESIGN.
