Nature of Economies – Jane Jacobs
The two readings view economics as a human nature and analyze them from a naturalistic point of view. Jane Jacobs views economies as a human nature like language, and Manuel de Landa views economies as planned result from human nature. These offer two different ideas of how to foster an economy though design, one seeing it as something that can be planned and the other seeing it as something that is naturally created.
