- Waldo lake is a popular summer location, with many activities including: fishing, boating, hiking, and camping

Second deepest lake in Oregon
The lake has a 10 miles per hour (16 km/h) speed limit for boats, but in 2010 gasoline motors were banned while electric motors are still allowed
Besides the lake, the area includes the Waldo Lake Wilderness. Additionally, the Pacific Crest Trail passes through the area.
