  • do one conceptual collage 5″ x 5″ for each sensory quality:   . Include image, series of adjectives, series of numerical values and possibly section or plan diagram superimposed.
  • Identify 2 sensory qualities to do experiments for Wednesday
  • Identify what area to do your 1-1/2″ = 1′-0″ scaled section drawing (ex. handrail, steps, place to rest, place to wash, etc.)

For Wednesday

  • Reading: Reread Pallasmaa_AnArchitectureOfTheSevenSenses
  • Written Descriptive: paragraph (what, who, why important)
  • Conceptual collages: revise
  • Sensory experiments: complete this including recording data and vizualizing data (consider ARCH 222 Exercise 2 Time-Base diagrams such as graphs, charts, diagrams, photograph phenomena, etc). Hardlined drawing. lightly include dimensions. consider drawing the human body. Include intended numerical data (temperature, sound, humidty, texture, etc.) and adjectives.
  • 1-1/2″ section at moment of human fit. Drafted, measured drawing.
  • *Begin to 3D model in Rhino your room and extract 1/2″ elevations, sections and plans. Perspective. *only do this after the other assignments are done.
