“Textiles” Benita Koch-Otte
Benita Koch-Otte was born on May 23, 1892 and spend her years as an artist and teacher. After going to school she received certifications to teach and taught drawing, physical education and handicraft at a school for girls. Later in life she left the school to study at Bauhaus and eventually became an employee there, at the weaving workshop. She was known for her textiles and design work with interiors and even after she retired she continued to teach weaving until she died.
