PROJECT 2 – PRECEDENT

PART A  [deliverable: squares, color, 1 for each of 4-5 minimum qualities, average 4″x4″, not smaller than 3″x3″, attached to foam core and mounted] + [descriptive square, 4″x4″, white text on very dark background of quality, include location of bathing ritual]

  • Qualitative / Quantitative Description of Ritual: Series of 4-5+ zoomed-in photographs of conditions (qualities) with superimposed text of adverbs that describe feelings (white text on dark background, or inverse) + superimposed numerical data of thermal (temperature, humidity), light (lumens) and acoustic (db, frequency) data.    hint: use geographic location to help with external environment .      **try to answer (directly or indirectly) the questions in Project 2 assignment and see Hudson House renderings for superimposed text.

Description

(Write a three sentence paragraph describing 1) what it is and who is serves, 2) how it is made and sensory qualities experiencing it; and 3) why it is important.
