-From Object to Field

I think what is trying to be conveyed here is the broad spectrum of a field condition. It can be anything in essence, yet while the interconnectivity may not be at the forefront there are complex underlying connections.

-The Flocks, Schools, and Swarms

To me, this represents the societal and interpersonal behavior at a population level. I think it very important to think about these ideas when planning for the intended use of a site.

-Walking out of Cubism

The idea of minimalism inspires me in its prevalence in modern design. I think the idea of using modern form and geometry through a minimalist scope creates great design opportunities.

-Geometric vs Algebraic Combination

I think the idea of isolation in productivity is extremely interesting. I think looking at ways to make sure individual aspects are performing while trying to create a flow within the site opens a very interesting design problem/solution.

-Thick 2D

I think it is important to notice the interconnectivity between the form and the ground, and in turn how that affects the field. For example a dense city with skyscrapers (Tokyo as quoted) and rural farmland. I think the beauty of naturally formed fields is difficult if not impossible to capture in design by way of man-made structure.
