This is looking really great! I think the color scheme is very successful, my only suggestion would be to tone down the black to more of a grey color so they don’t distract from the overall presentation. I like how you used the same base for the diagrams and used different methods of diagramming to represent different sets of data. For the world wide whale distribution, I think the world map could have been a little more accurate, just because there was no specific reason to have it be this abstract. Overall a very nice presentation and good start to digital diagramming.
