Donald Judd in the reading ‘Field Conditions’ interprets how grids and fields can be compatible, yet also incompatible when Judd stated in Page 8 of the reading, “All grids are fields, but not all fields are grids,” advocating the author’s interpretation towards grids and fields. Donald Judd also elucidates the effects towards the fields and grids known as the ‘Moire effect’ stated on page 8 when Judd stated, “Moire effects often used to measure hidden stresses in continuous fields, or to the map complex figures from,” with an illustration drawing  of the field conditions diagram on page 8 as well.
