Flocks like those of birds, have rules for its behavior of movement. The flocks need to have a minimum distance from other objects in the environment, match velocities with other objects/birds in the group, and move toward the perceived center of mass of objects/birds/boids in the group. These diagrams show that there is a central force guiding the movement of the dots.

The circulation flow of crowds is different depending on the type of crowd. There are slow, quick, open, and closed crowds. Even though crowds are complex and the patterns are less predictable, these diagrams show a typical day in the city of a type of crowd going to work. There is rush hour in the earlier and later parts of the day but less traffic in the middle of the day. Some things all crowds have in common no matter the type or situation is that they need direction, equality, want growth and love density.

The crowd always wants to grow. In this series of diagrams, it shows that when growth develops, the spaces shift and form to adapt.

This topic talks about the need for proportionality, relationship between individual elements, axiality, and organization of the whole. These diagrams, show how an organization of elements such as circles, creates a sense of wholeness to complete the picture.

Minimalism strived for less figurative and decorative character for it to establish its architectural condition. The meaning was now in a spatial field between the viewer and the object. These diagrams show how there is little to no decoration and the meaning of it is how the viewer perceives it.
