Courses
In this program you will explore education in depth. Topics such as organizational structure, classroom dynamics, professional training, expectations, technology, and curriculum will be explored in a seminar style course dedicated to this group. Participants will also enroll in one language-focused class in the IEP and a culture-focused class. Each of these courses and activities will provide the context for language instruction in and beyond the classroom.
AEI Offerings:
- Oral Skills – observe a master teacher while polishing your own language skills as you participate in a 4-hour class with other students from around the world in the Intensive English Program.
- TESOL Professional Development – study various aspects of TESOL methodologies, interactive learning, educational technology, and other relevant topics through a 12-hour seminar dedicated to teaching strategies.
- Education in America – study the academic and historic culture of Education in the US through a 4-hour focus class.
