About Us

The rowing team at the University of Oregon began in the fall of 1967. The team built a boathouse on Dexter Reservoir where it still stands. Crew is the largest and most physiologically challenging club sport the University of Oregon has to offer. We are always recruiting rowers and coxswains with or without experience. Informational meetings will be held during the week of welcome and anyone interested is encouraged to attend. For any questions or information on meetings, practices or competitions, contact us at roworegon@gmail.com, or feel free to contact team President Delaney Butler at 541-280-1982 or email ddsbutler@gmail.com. Practices are in the morning at 5:15 am during fall and spring. A bus transports us to and from Dexter Lake in Lowell, Oregon, and arrives back at campus at 8:30 am. During winter term we meet between 6:00am-8:00am at Mac Court for strength training and conditioning workouts.
