Hey everyone!

Welcome to the University of Oregon’s Multicultural Center’s webpage!

We are located at the bottom level of the Erb Memorial Union! Please check our contacts tab for a full map.

We are open to all students and hold events throughout the year. We deal mainly with issues of diversity, but have collaborated with other groups such as the Woman’s Center, Academic Affairs Office, and the College of Education.

This year, we are trying even harder to reach out and collaborate with others more. If you’re an administrator, returning student, or new student that is interested in our organization, we would happily welcome you to join us for any of our events. We are also encouraging others to approach us and suggest events or co-sponsorship.

This first week, we have two events coming up. It is entitled Student Labor Activism Workshop. It is located within the MCC area, and will be taking place Tuesday September 27th at 2pm. We encourage anyone interested to join us. There will be food!

Our next event will be on the 30th, the following Friday, in the same area. We will be meeting and greeting Sonny Montes, a Mexican/Chicano Activist.  Free food will also be provided at this event! It will be followed up by his talk at the UO Law School in room 110 at 3:30.

Our events are open-doors, so feel free to join us! We look forward to seeing you there!
