Annual ASSA Meetings
Each year, TPUG organizes four sessions – two in transportation and two in public utilities. Traditionally, one of the sessions is jointly sponsored by both TPUG and the American Economic Association. To have your research considered, it should be a paper in areas related to transportation, energy, telecommunications, and water and waste water. Paper proposals should include an electronic copy of the paper title and a 1 to 2 paragraph abstract in addition to author contact information. For public utilities papers, send these items to Professor John Mayo at (firstname.lastname@example.org). For transportation papers, send these items to Professor Patrick McCarthy (email@example.com).
This year public utilities papers will be considered for the AEA/TPUG joint session. Please submit the electronic copy of the paper title, abstract information to Professor Mayo by the end of March (2015). Papers submitted for consideration for TPUG’s transportation sessions are due by May 1 (2015). All program participants must register for the AEA convention and become TPUG members ($30 TPUG membership fee). There is also a listserve which is used to disseminate information directly to members. Please contact the secretary to add your name to the listserve.
