Prison Justice Working Group is a non-hierarchical collective of students and community members who want to see mass incarceration come to an end. We have been active at the UO since the fall of 2011. One of our recent events was Smoke Signals Film Series: Perspectives on Mass Incarceration, during which we screened documentaries about the War on Drugs and the prison system, as well as alternatives to incarceration. We have meetings every Wednesday at 11:30 AM in the Survival Center. You can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Prison Justice Working Group Statement
We are a non-hierarchical collective exploring the idea of accountability within healthy communities as an alternative to incarceration. We recognize the ways that the prison-industrial complex intersects with natural, built, and social environments, as well as with all struggles for social justice. We value questioning and learning as forms of resistance.
