Apr 27, 2016, 6:30 pm9:00 pm

Many Nations Longhouse

Free and open to the public

You are invited to the annual Endangered Languages Night, hosted by GLOSS (The Graduate Student Linguistics Society).

APRIL 27 6:30-9 PM.
Many Nations Longhouse (behind the Knight law school and the Museum of Natural and Cultural History)
At this fun-filled evening, you will get a passport and are encouraged to visit at least 10 different languages and meet the linguists who work on them! Please come by for as little or as long as you want, and meet linguists working in the field to preserve our cultural heritage before it vanishes forever!

Also 6:30-7:30, GLOSS will be holding a silent auction to benefit the NILI summer institute, a place where indigenous scholars can continue their language practice. GLOSS hopes to underwrite a youth scholarship this year. We’re helping endangered languages by raising awareness about other endangered languages!

Please join us for this FREE event!
