Vancouveria hexandra is a beautiful, evergreen flower found in the southern, shady forests of the Pacific Northwest. The flower itself looks inside out because of the placement of the stem, which is where the stamen would usually be. It has flowers with six pedals that bend backwards away from the stem, and can reach thirty centimeters long. The leaves are basal, reaching between ten and forty centimeters long, and have nine to fifteen leaflets that distinctly resemble ducks feet, with three lobes.
