Nomad

The Department of Comparative Literature’s journal of undergraduate writing

nomadissue1covWe chose the name Nomad for this journal because we felt it represented the kind of work that Comparatists tend to do. They work in various fields and languages, across numerous disciplines and time periods. In short, they are destined to be wanderers in academia, whose perspective deviates just enough from the traditional application of their areas that their observations express a uniqueness and insight that only outsiders, particularly those who have chosen to make a living as outsiders, can make.
