All 2024 Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall graduates are invited to participate! A reception will follow.

a diploma and flowersWe ask that all 2024 Chemistry and Biochemistry graduates complete this survey by May 15th to ensure that you will receive important department communications about commencement and provide us with some information about your post graduation plans. 

Important: THIS IS NOT A DEGREE APPLICATION. 
Students who plan to receive a degree must complete an online UO application for their degree.

BS or BA degrees – apply on  DuckWeb – deadline for Spring 2024 degrees 4/28/2024.
MS or PhD degrees – apply on the Graduate School Website – deadline for Spring 2024 degrees 4/12/2024

 

PART I - Graduate, Degree and Ceremony Information

If your thesis title has not been finalized, please provide an approximate title.

Department Ceremony Information

The 2024 Chemistry and Biochemistry Commencement Ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 16th, in the Willamette Hall atrium. Each graduate will be introduced by name and will walk across the stage to receive their diploma cover.

If you or your invited family member or guest needs ADA accommodations for the ceremony, such as accessible seating or a sign language interpreter, please submit a request here.

PART II - Post-graduation Information

In the following two sections, please check any boxes that apply and then tell us a little more about what you will be doing after you graduate, e.g.,
  • Work (employer, job title, location)
  • Job Search (industry, area of interest)
  • Accepted into Graduate Program (MS, PhD, MD, etc. – institution, program, location)
  • Intend to Apply to a Graduate Program (MS, PhD, MD, etc.)
  • Other (internship, volunteer organization, travel, Gap Year, etc.)
