UO Chemistry and Biochemistry Professor Emeritus John Schellman passed away on December 16, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Cascade Manor in Eugene, Oregon at 3 pm.
Professor Schellman’s career at the University of Oregon spanned 45 years. He joined the faculty of the UO Chemistry Department in 1958 and retired in 1989, but remained active in research.
