Research Interests
I am interested in the relationship between intervention strategies and academic achievement, specifically literacy skills, word learning and language acquisition of monolingual and bilingual learners. My research goals involve investigating interventions and memory & learning strategies that will even the vocabulary playing field for all students, leading to academic success.
Additional research interests include educators’ impressions & values of neuroscience, as well as neuroeducation curriculum development and implementation in professional teacher-preparation programs.
