Blackboard Update Notice – 01/08/2015

Please note that we are currently experiencing a sporadic issue where some users are not seeing their updates.  This issue appears to occur with only some accounts and we are actively working with Blackboard to isolate the issue and find a resolution.  In the interim, one workaround that may work for you is to log out and log back in.  We have reports that this has worked for some but not for others.  We will update the notice once we have a resolution.

Blackboard maintenance over Winter Break (Dec 29 8am-4pm, Dec 30 5am-7am)

There will be two different maintenance periods over Winter Break where Blackboard will be unavailable. The first will be on Monday December 29 from 8am PST until no later than 4pm PST. During this time Blackboard will be upgraded to the October 2014 release. This is a maintenance release and there are no major user-visible changes to users.

The second maintenance time will be on Tuesday December 30 from 5am PST until 7am PST. During this time the database will be upgraded.

Campus Service Outage: Services Restored

On Wednesday, 12/3/14, around 9:15PM, there was a broad service outage to a wide range of UO websites and services, including email, the UO homepage (www.uoregon.edu), Blackboard (blackboard.uoregon.edu), Banner, UO Drupal hosting, and others. Services were restored at approximately 10:15 pm on Wednesday, 12/3/14.
